This March, Ferrell Studios presents "Songs for a New World" at the Mignolo Arts Center, bringing to life Jason Robert Brown's captivating musical. This production is not just a series of songs but a collection of stories, each exploring pivotal moments in life's journey.

A Cast of Dreamers and Storytellers

Lindsay Paige Spitzer, as Woman 1, brings her extensive stage experience and passion for musical storytelling, having shone in various leading roles, including "The Last Five Years" at Ferrell Studios coupled with her background in vocal music education from Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Sharing the role of Woman 2, Emily Teubner returns to the Mignolo stage, bringing her versatile talent seen in roles from "Into The Woods" to "Newsies." Her dedication to the arts is matched by Jimena Torres, making her Ferrell Studios debut with a background in dynamic roles from "Newsies" to "Real Women Have Curves".

Dustin Symonette and Uchenna Agbu, alternating as Man 1, offer a blend of musical and theatrical expertise. Symonette's background in music composition and theater, combined with Agbu's experience in directing and writing, enriches their performances with depth and creativity.

Steven Franklin, as Man 2, leverages his recent graduation from Mason Gross School of the Arts and experience in musical performances to bring a unique energy to the stage, supported by his dedication to music education and performance.

Under Luke Ferrell's direction, "Songs for a New World" transcends traditional theater, blending the intimate setting of a living room with fantastical elements.
