About tick, tick…BOOM!
tick, tick…BOOM! is the autobiographical story of a young artist, Jonathan Larson, standing at the crossroads of ambition and self-doubt as he races against the clock to achieve his dreams. Set in 1990, on the brink of the AIDS epidemic in the United States, and set in New York City, it chronicles Jon’s journey to balance his passion for musical theater and artistry with the pressures of love, friendship, and financial survival. At its core, it is a deeply personal exploration of the sacrifices and resilience required to pursue one’s calling, asking the timeless question: What does it mean to truly live before time runs out?
